Le Carré des Simples is as yet a small company and cannot, on its own, finance the needs of the Cityculteurs project that it initiated. However, though small with only limited means, it does not mean we cannot be proactive. Quite the opposite! Le Carré des Simples sees its commercial aims as intrinsically linked to the social impact it can have, with regard to its employees as well as its clients.

Le Carré des Simples does not simply finance a third party’s project, but goes out of its way to build projects up from scratch, from finding funding, to constructing them, and making them live and breath! The degree of involvement of Le Carré des Simples makes the Cityculteurs a unique endeavour.

To transform their ambitions into reality the Cityculteurs fundraises in a number of ways:

• An economical activity by creating healing gardens, the setting up and conducting workshops (for corporate businesses or with individuals)
• Public financing (local authorities, health institutes, hospitals, district boards, nursing homes)
• Grants acquired through patronage of businesses and foundations
• Apprenticeship tax (training activity)
