Cityculteurs show "A herbal garden, an alchemy between body and soul"
The Cityculteurs were invited to contribute a design on the therapeutic experience at the 19th International Garden Festival of Chaumont-sur-Loire with with their garden: Simple cures, an alchemy between body and soul (garden n°6)
A garden for the Hospital in Vesinet
The show garden created for the festival will be moved to the Paris suburb of Le Vesinet to the palliatic service of the local hospital where it will provide a safe, agreeable, easily accessible outdoor space for the patients. A succession of clearly signposted, enclosed, landscaped areas, with the planting in raised beds for easier accessibility, will allow patients to be in contact with nature on a regular basis in a protected environment. It is intended that these gardens for the hospitals’ elderly, frail residents as well their visitors will contribute to the patients’ well-being and to maintain that vital contact with their environment.
In partnership with Le Clos du Coudray
The Cityculteurs are in partnership with the Clos du Coudray. On all sales of the Cityculteurs herb package, a percentage will be donated to our non-profit organisation. Le Clos du Coudray is a large organic nursery located on 3 hectares in the heart of Normandy. Their garden is stocked with over 8000 plant specimens, all of them grown without pesticides, insecticides or chemical fertilizers. Le Clos du Courdray is a shining example to all of us gardeners anxious to preserve the environment and encourage healthy living. Our best allies, in the relentless battle against parasites, remain birds, toads and other predatory insects.
